Qualcomm Leads Investment In Practice Fusion

The venture arm of San Diego-based Qualcomm, Qualcomm Ventures is the lead investor in a new round of funding for healthcare technology company Practice Fusion, the companies announced this morning. Accordin to Practice Fusion, it raised $15M in new funding as part of a Series D extension funding. The round was led by Qualcomm Ventures, and brings Practice Fusion's Series D funding to $85M. Other investors in the round included Longitude Capital, Artis Ventures, Industry Ventures and Band of Angels. Practice Fusion is based in San Francisco, and develops software for managing electronic health records. More information »
