Assay Depot Scores $3M In New Funding

San Diego-based Assay Depot, which operates an online marketplace focused on scientific services, said this morning that it has raised $3M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Bootstrap Venture Fund. Assay Depot operates a network of online, scientific focused marketplaces specifically aimed at helping scientists find experts and sources of scientific research. The company is led by Kevin Lustig. The company said the funding will go to grow its platform. Assay Depot bills itself the "Amazon.com for scientists." More information »
