Novatel Wireless Names Interim CFO

San Diego-based Novatel Wireless said late Friday that it has appointed an interim Chief Financial Officer, and is searching for a new, permanent CFO. Novatel said it has named Tom Allen, who was previously EVP, Chief Operating Officer, and CFO for Outdoor Channel Holdings, as its new CFO. Allen also was co-founder of ACME Communications, and has served at Virgin Interactive Entertainment and Fox Broadcasting Company. Novatel Wireless is a developer of wireless communications modules.
