Cornerstone OnDemand Names Etsy CFO To Board

Santa Monica-based talent management software developer Cornerstone OnDemand said Wednesday that it has added Kristana Salen, the Chief Financial Officer of Etsy, to its board of directors. Salen has been CFO of Etsy since January of 2013; she previously also served at Fidelity Investments. Cornerstone OnDemand cited Salen's financial and operational experience, as well as familiarity of today's technology landscape for the appointment. Salen replaces venture capitalist Byron Deeter of Bessemer Venture Partners. Deeter had been involved with Cornerstone OnDemand since before it went public, as a private investor in the company. Bessemer was co-lead on Cornerstone OnDemand's first institutional round in 2007.
