Innovative Micro Technology Expands In China

Santa Barbara-based Innovative MIcro Technology, which develops micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), says it is in a deal to expand in China. IMT said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China R&D Center for Internet of Things (CIT-China), to enable CIT-China's related companies to design and develop advanced MEMS devices. Financial impact of the deal were not disclosed. The deal calls for CIT-China's companies to tap into IMT's production expertise and capacity.
