Fullscreen Buys Rooster Teeth

Los Angeles-based Fullscreen said this morning that it has acquired Rooster Teeth, an online comedy and gaming community and brand, the companies said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Rooster Teeth provides content around live-action shorts, serial comedies, animation, podcasts and gameplay videos. Fullscreen said the buy will help it accelerate its expansion, saying the buy will enhance its merchandise and live events initiatives. Rooster Teeth is based in Austin, Texas.
