ID Analytics Gets Patent

San Diego-based ID Analytics reported today that it has been granted a U.S. patent on the company's identity manipulation detection system and method. The patent, U.S. Patent Number 13/494,976, was granted on December 23, 2014, and names Stephen Coggeshall, Wenzhoung Zhou, and Viktoria Rojkova as inventors. ID Analytics said the patent helps detect whether a consumer shows signs of deliberate identity manipulation that would indicate a significant risk of fraud. Coggeshall is ID Analytics' chief analytics and science officer. ID Analytics' products are used by companies and government agencies to reduce fraud and assess identity risk and creditworthiness. The company is now part of LifeLock.
