Teledyne Buys Bowtech For Underwater Cameras

Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne said Monday that it has acquired Bowtech Products Limited, an Aberdeen, Scotland maker of underwater vision systems. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Bowtech's cameras are used in remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and other harsh underwater systems, and was founded in 1989. Teledyne said the buy helps fill a product gap in its marine technology portfolio.
