Newegg, Buybak Launch Tech Trade In, Ewaste Effort In LA

Los Angeles-based online electronics retailer Newegg and online product trade in provider Buybak announced this morning that it is launching a new, technology trade in initiative in the Los Angeles area, as part of Earth Day. According to the two, LA businesses witin 50 miles of Newegg's City of Industry based headquarters can turn in their electronic waste, for free, using Newegg's delivery vehicles. Newegg said that consumers can get a Newegg gift card for unwanted cellphones, DVDs, CDs, MP3 players, and other items via Buybak.com's website and by mailing in their items. The company said the pickups and promotion will run on Wednesday, April 22nd.
