aTyr Pharma Adds Board Member

San Diego-based aTyr Pharma said this morning that it has added a new member to its board. aTyr said it has added Mark Goldberg, M.D., who is currently Senior Advisor for Medical and Regulatory Strategy at Synageva BioPharmaca Corporation, to the position. He also had served at Genzyme, and has nearly 20 years of experience in the field. aTyr Pharma is focused on treatment of rare diseases, and is a spinout of the Scripps Research Institute.
