UCLA Anderson Gets $11M For New Technology Center

UCLA's Anderson School of Business has launched a new research center, called the Easton Technology Management Center, thanks to an $11M gift from James L. Easton, the CEO of Easton Sports. According to UCLA, the new center will focus on innovative research and scholarship in technology management, and will broaden the base of technology opportunities across the UCLA campus. UCLA said the new center will create a hub for innovative research and scholarship in technology leadership; increase outreach and help develop closer ties with UCLA's engineering and medical schools, and technology industry professionals; and help foster curriculum innovation in technology leadership. Easton, who helped establish the Easton Technology Leadership Program at UCLA in 2009, has a background in engineering from UCLA. Photo of UCLA courtesy evidences@Flickr.
