Science 37 Raises $6.5M

Los Angeles-based Science 37, a provider of technology-enabled, clinical research services, has raised $6.5M in a Series A funding round. The funding was co-led by Lux Capital and dRx Capital. Science37, which is led by CEO Noah Craft, says it is using telemedicine and mobile workforces to help overcome inefficiency in conducting clinical trials, and specifically to help clinical trials run distributed clinical trials, using national mobile nursing companies, pharmacy chains, patient advocacy groups, and technology.
