SPARQL City Acquired by Cambridge Semantics

San Diego-based SPARQL City, which develops big data analytics software, has been acquired by Boston-based Cambridge Semantics. Financial terms of the intellectual property deal was not announced. Cambridge Semantics said it has hired former CEO and founder Barry Zane, as well as other executives from SPARQL City. Zane previously served at Applix, Netezza, and ParAccel.
