Episource Names COO

Los Angeles-based Episource, a provider of outsourced medical coding, data analytics, risk adjustment, and other services to the healthcare industry, said it has named Erik Simonsen as its Chief Operating Officer. Simonsen was most recently Head of Corporate Banking and Securities, Birminham (UK) for Deutsche Bank. Episource said Simonsen has over 10 years of experience in setting up and managing outsourced centers, including for Deutsche Bank (Jacksonville, Florida; Mumbai, India; and Birmingham, UK).and Copal Partners (Gurgaon, India). Episource says it currently has over 1200 employees in the Philippines.
