j2 Global Has $200M Quarter

Los Angeles-based j2 Global, which owns a wide range of cloud-based businesses, ranging from Internet fax, to email, to online backup and unified communications services--in addition to owning online publishing businesses such as Ziff Davis, IGN, and AskMen--has just passed up the $200M mark in quarterly revenues. j2 Global said it had $201M in first quarter revenues, which was up 24.3 percent versus Q1 of 2015. The company had $29.9M in net income for the quarter, up 36.5 percent from last year. j2 Global says it has had 20 years of consecutive revenue growth. j2 Global is led by Hemi Zucker.
