Microsemi, Arrow Electronics Cement Distribution Deal

Aliso Viejo-based semiconductor developer Microsemi said today that it has named electronics distributor Arrow Electronics as its lead global distributor. Arrow--which has been distributing Microsemi's products for more than 40 years--will carry Microsemi's full portfolio of products, among other efforts. The two said that Arrow specifically will represent Microsemi in the aerospace and defense, communications, data center and industrial markets. Microsemi makes field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and system-on-chips (SoCs), Ethernet PHYs, PCIe switches and controllers, advanced storage solutions, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), and other components.
