Qualcomm Expands GNSS Support

San Diego-based Qualcomm said today that it is now broadly supporting the European Galileo Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) across its entire range of products. GNSS is the European equivalent of the GPS systems, offering up global satellite positioning services. Qualcomm says the GNSS support comes on top of existing support for the GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, and SBAS satellite location services. Qualcomm said the GNSS support is now available on its Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 600, and 400 processors.
