Newegg Opens Facility Near Toronto

Los Angeles-based online electronics retailer Newegg announced today that it has opened up a new, combined pickup and education center near Toronto, Canada. Newegg said its new 3,800 square foot "Hybrid Centre" will let customers both pick up will-call orders, as well as learn about technology products and attend educational seminars. The new center--its second-- is located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and opens up this Friday. Newegg's only other "Hybrid Center" is in Los Angeles, next to its LA headquarters location. Newegg's new center is part of an 81,000 square foot facility, which includes both a 67,000 square foot warehouse and administrative offices; the company says it currently employs 12 at the location.
