AeroVironment Gets Win In Australia

Monrovia, California-based AeroVironment reported a win in Australia, with the Australian Armed Forces, for its Wasp AE Micro Air Vehicle (RQ-12A), the company said on Monday. Financial impact of the win was not announced. AeroVironment said the win came in conjunction with Australia-based XTEK, Sentient Vision and General Dynamics (GD) Mediaware. AeroVironment's RQ-12A is a 2.8 pound aerial vehicle with color and infrared video capability. AeroVironment also has offices in Simi Valley.
