Allset Eyes Expansion In LA After $2.35M Funding Round

Allset, a startup which lets you book a table at a local restaurant and pre-order food, so that you can just show up, grab a seat, and eat, said it is expanding into Los Angeles after a funding round. Allset--which currently has operations in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Manhattan--said the funding came from Andreessen Horowitz, Metamorphic Ventures, FJ Labs, as well as SMRK VC Fund and Alexandr Chernyak. The funding specifically goes for expansion into Los Angeles, as well as Chicago, plus for product research, development, and marketing. Allset said it lets users book a table and pre-order a meal, so that users can have a wait-free lunch in less than 30 minutes. The company did not say which parts of Los Angeles it plans to launch into first. More information »
