Yumi Raises $4.1M For Subscription Baby Food Service

Los Angeles-based Yumi, a subscription, organic baby food startup, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $4.1M in a seed funding round. The funding came from August Capital, Brand Foundry, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), plus angels Hugo Barra, Ali Partovi, Philip Krim and Matt Mullenweg. Yumi says it offers up baby food delivery starting at $50 a week. The company says all of its baby food is "organic, plant-based and low in total sugar." Yumi was founded by Evelyn Rusli and Angela Sutherland. More information »
