SUNRx Buys eAudit Solutions

San Diego-based SUNRx, a provider of contract pharmacy administration services, said this morning that it has acquired eAudit Solutions, a provider of audit services for the 340B Drug Discount Program. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. SUNRx said the acquisition will help create an end-to-end solution providing 340B contract pharmacy management to hospitals. The two have been partnered since 2013. The 340B program is a U.S. federal government program, which requires drug manufacturers to provide significantly discounted drugs to health care organizations and others, to help serve low-income and uninsured patients.
