Skyworks Gets Design Win With Oculus Quest

Irvine-based analog semiconductor developer Skyworks Solutions, has scored a high profile design win, with the new Oculus Quest virtual reality gaming system. According to SkyWorks, its Skyone solution for WiFi is part of the Facebook Oculus Quest, an "all-in-one" virtual reality gaming system which connects wirelessly to cloud gaming. Skyworks Skyone WiFi solution provides an integrated system which provides 2Ghz and 5Ghz wireless functionality, including "front-end", power amplifier, a 2Ghz acoustic wave coupler, and other components needed for implementing Wi-Fi.
