Gatsby Takes On Shopping Cart Abandonment, Social Sharing
Is there a way to fix both shopping cart abandonment--and also boost your online store's social reach? A new, Los Angeles-based startup, Gatsby, thinks so, with the launch of a new tool to both improve conversions--and get some social exposure, at the same time. Gatsby said it has launched a new partnership and customer in Helix Sleep, an online personalized mattress company. Gatsby's software presents shoppers with a personalized discount--in the case of Helix Sleep, often a very significant discount--based on a user's social media influence, if they will tweet about the brand. Gatsby's CEO, Brett Bernstein, co-founded Natural Cravings Healthy Vending (acquired in 2012), and also has served at Box and Honk. Bernstein said that Helix Sleep is the first customer to launch, and it will be rolling out more brands next week.
