Los Angeles-based Gehry Technologies, which develops 3D, project collaboration and building information modeling (BIM) softare, said Wednesday that it has acquired Bimshare, a developer of building information modeling (BIM) data sharing software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Gehry said the buy would expand its cloud-based, service offerings. Both firms serve building owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and others in the building industry.
