    Genoptix Raises $17M


    San Diego-based Genoptix has raised $17.3M in funding from Chicago Growth Partners, and existing investors Enterprise Partners, Alliance Technology Ventures, Tullis-Dickerson & Co., Excelsior Venture Partners, and Lotus Bioscience Investment Holdings. Arda M. Minocherhomjee of Chicago Growth Partners joined the board. Genoptix is developing services aimed at blood and bone marrow diseases and management of those diseases. The company provides personalized recommendations for individual patients for treatment.
