Geopointe Acquired By The Ascent Group

Orange, California-based sales data mapping software developer Geopointe said on Thursday that it has been acquired by The Ascent Group, a Detroit-based developer of cloud-based sales performance management software. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Geopointe's software was used for mapping sales data from CRM tools. Geopointe's founder and CEO is Scott Hemmeter.
