Gizmo5 Links Into MySpace IM
San Diego-based, voice-over-IP software firm Gizmo5 said Thursday that the firm has linked its software to the MySpace instant messaging network. According to the firm, the integration means that users of MySpace can use the firm's software to see who is online on MySpace, receive alerts, and send/receive messages. Gizmo5 said the new features are available as a free feature. Gizmo5 was formerly known as SIPphone, and renamed itself in December. Michael Robertson, founder of MP3.com, is CEO of Gizmo5.
