GloNav Ships RFIC GPS Chip
Newport Beach-based GloNav, which designs GPS chips for the semiconductor industry, said today that its low power, GPS RFIC is now in production availability. The firm's chip is targeted for integration into handsets, portable consumer electronics devices, and battery operated GPS devices. GloNav's silicon integrates the full GPS receive path into a chip, and connects into GloNav's baseband IP cores and processors. GloNav is venture backed by Atlantic Bridge Ventures.
