Google (www.google.com) is aggressively recruiting for spots in its Southern California offices, where 200 prospective recruits were wined and dined last week, in a throwback to the go-go years of the dot-com boom. According to Google's VP of Engineering, Wayne Rosing, the firm has virtually a limitless appetite for hiring, and is looking to seriously expand its research and engineering center in Santa Monica.
