    Goowy Announces Investment By Mark Cuban


    San Diego-based Goowy Media, a developer of Web 2.0 sharing applications, said this morning that it has received a major strategic financing round from Mark Cuban. Goowy said that Cuban had made an investment in the company, which wuld be used for fueling the ongoing expansion of the company's user base and to enhance its services. Cuban is the founder of Broadcast.com, and also owns the Dallas Mavericks. The funding by Cuban was disclosed earlier this month when socalTECH interviewed Alex Bard, CEO of the firm.
