Gorilla Nation Gets $50M From Great Hill
Los Angeles-based online advertising firm Gorilla Nation announced this morning that it has received over $50M in an equity investment from Great Hill Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. The funding, which is the first outside funding for the company, will go towards developing new online ad technology and products, to broaden the firm's marketing services offerings, for international expansion, and for acquisitions. Gorilla Nation has over 120 employees, and said that is plans to expand its staff to over 200. Gorilla Nation was represented by The Jordan, Edmiston Group in the deal. Gorilla Nation is headquartered in Los Angeles, but also has offices in New York, Chicago, and Toronto.
