    GoTV Offers Fantasy Sports Via Mobile


    Sherman Oaks-based GoTV, a provider of content for mobile phones and other mobile platforms, said today that it has launched a new, mobile channel for fantasy sport fans.The firm said that its new Fantasy Sports Edge service provides sports news, and tracking of fantasy sports leagues. Fantasy sports fans can tap into sports information, standings, player alerts, scores, and other information for National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), NCAA Football, and NCAA Basketball. The new service will cost $5.99 a month on mobile carriers. GoTV is venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and Charles River Ventures.
