Guidance Software, Lastline In Partnership

Pasadena-based Guideance Software, which develops computer forensics software, and malware detection provider Lastline announced this morning that the two are in a partnership and integration deal. The two said they have integrated EnCase Endpoint Security with Lastline Enterprise, which automates the response to detect, triage, and respond to threats. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The two said that Lastline is now immediately sharing threat intelligence with EnCase when it detects malware, which the two said will increase the speed of response to security alerts.
