Hercules Technology Growth Capital Opens Southern California Office

Hercules Technology Growth Capital, a venture debt financing company that serves the venture capital-backed startup market, said today that it is expanding into Southern California. According to the company, it has opened up a Los Angeles office, specifically aimed at tapping into the huge amount of venture capital investments in the Southern California region. The new office is being led by Tim Barnes, formerly of Silicon Valley Bank. HTGC is based in Palo Alto. The company typically provides venture debt to companies who already have venture capital investments.
