Here On Biz Joins LinkedIn's Data, Mobile

Looking to help users get more out of their business connections in LinkedIn, a new Los Angeles startup, Here On Biz has launched a new app on the Apple App store. The startup--founded by Allen Hartwig and Nick Smoot--said it is looking to help business professionals start online conversations with people around them, by linking location awareness with LinkedIn. The new service connects to a user's LinkedIn account, and lets them see other professionals located near them. The two said the idea for the app came from "spending too many days in hotel rooms while on the road and sitting in airports while planes were delayed."
