Hilliard Joins Demand Media

Charles S. Hilliard, former President and CFO of United Online, has joined Demand Media as its President and CFO. Demand Media said Wednesday that Hilliard will join the firm effective June 1st. Hilliard has been CFO of United Online since 1999, and has also served as President since May of 2006. Separately, United Online said that Neil P. Edwards will serve as Interim Chief Financial Officer of United Online to replace Hilliard. United Online has also initiated a search for a permanent successor for the position. Hilliard has previously served as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley & Co and Merrill Lynch & Co. More information »
