Irvine-based HireRight, which provides employment background and drug screening services via an "on-demand" offering, said today that it has inked an agreement with HRsmart. HRsmart is a developer of talent management software used for managing job applicants and employees. According to HireRight, the link will allow business users using HRsmart to manage their background and drug screening programs directly through that software. Financial impact of the alliance was not disclosed. HireRight is owned by USIS.
