HomeLister Picks Up $10M In Series A

Santa Monica-based HomeLister, an online home selling automation startup, said it has raised $10M in a Series A funding. According to the company its services automate the sale process and reduces the costs of sell-side agents when people sell their own home. The company said the Series A funding was led by M13 and Homebrew. HomeLister was founded by CEO Lindsay McLean and General Counsel Jennifer Stein. The company said its services allow home sellers to keep more of the equity in their homes, potentially tens of thousands of dollars, when they sell their home. The company claims that its users are saving $21K on average, with the average seller saving 3.7% of their home price.
