Hone Gets $16M For Corporate Training

San Diego-based Hone, a provider of a corporate learning platform, has raised $16M in a Series A funding round. The funding was F-Prime Capital and also included Cowboy Ventures, NextGen Venture Partners, Slack Fund, Gaingels, Swift Ventures, and SemperVirens. According to the company, John Lin of F-Prime Capital will join the company's board as part of the funding. According to the company, the new funding will go towards its platform and to build out its go-to-market team. The company says it offers up live online classes for employee and corporate training.
