Hulu, Turner Broadcasting Ink Deal For Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, TNT Titles

Los Angeles-based streaming television site Hulu and Turner Broadcasting said Thursday that the two are in their first licensing agreement between the companies, which will bring such titles as Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Last Ship, and Murder in the First to Hulu's service. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The companies said that the multi-year licensing agreement will grant Hulu the exclusive SVOD rights to previous seasons of programming from Cartoon Network and Adult Swim as well as select current and upcoming series from TNT and TBS. The deal also covers upcoming TBS series Angie Tribeca, which the companies said will be available exclusively for streaming after its full run season on TBS.
