Los Angeles-based Hulu said Tuesday that the video site is in new distribution partnerships with both Roku and Tivo. According to Hulu, its Hulu Plus service will be available through both platforms, extending its coverage beyond existing desktop, Apple iPad, iPhone 3GS, iphone4, and 3rd generation iPod Touch, along with Sony PlayStation 3 and certain Samnsung Blu-ray players and TVs. Financial details of the partnerships were not disclosed. Roku is a maker of set-top boxes, and Tivo is a developer of digital video recorders and related services. Hulu Plus is Hulu's premium, subscription offering, which offers up current TV shows and back seasons not available through its standard offering.
