iQstor Ships 4G Disk Enclosure

Newbury Park, California-based iQstor Networks has rolled out a new, storage product. The firm said yesterday that it new J2880 provide modular, 4Gb/s Fibre Channel (FC) JBOD in a disk expansion enclosure. The new storage module provides built in switching, instead of traditional Fibre Channel loops, which enable faster performance and reliability. The new storage device supports both FC and SATA II disk drives, and in-band management.
