iStor Appoints Daly CEO

Irvine-based iStor Networks has tapped the former CEO of Avamar Technologies, Kevin C. Daly, as its new CEO, the firm said earlier this week. Daly was Chairman of iStor's board of directors. Daly has served as CEO of Avamar Technologies, and also was CEO of ATL Products, and subsequently CEO of Quantum/ATL when it was acquired by Quantum in 1998. Daly was most recently CEO of MAXxess Systems. iStor said that founder Simon Huang has become Chief Operating Officer at the firm. iStor is developing iSCSI-based network storage products.
