    Incuity Acquired By Rockwell Automation


    Mission Viejo-based Incuity Software, a provider of enterprise manufacturing software, has been acquired by Rockwell Automation, Inc., Rockwell announced Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Rockwell Automation said that the acquisition will help the firm expand its FactoryTalk software suite. Incuity's products are used to monitor production operations and enterprise systems for manufacturing. According to Rockwell Automation, Incuity has more than 45,000 seats of its products installed worldwide. Incuity will become part of Rockwell Automation's Architecture & Software operating segment. Incuity has received venture funding from American River Ventures and Palomar Ventures; the firm raised a Series A funding in August of 2006 worth $7.30M.
