Ingram Micro Buys CloudBlue

Santa Ana-based technology distributor Ingram Micro has acquired IT asset disposition provider CloudBlue, the company announced Monday. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. CloudBlue provides enterprise IT asset disposition, data destruction, and e-waste recycling services to large enterprise customers. According to Ingram Micro, CloudBlue will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm, and will be headed by Ken Beyer, the former CEO and co-founder of CloudBlue. CloudBlue had been based in Norcross, Ga.
