    Ingram Micro President Plans Transition

Santa Ana-based technology distributor Ingram Micro said Thursday afternoon that Kevin M. Murai, the firm's President and Chief Operating Officer, is planning to resign from the company at the end of the year. Ingram Micro said that Murai plans to care for his extended family in Toronto, and will be replaced by Alain Monie, the firm's current Executive Vice President and President of Ingram Micro Asia-Pacific. Murai has been at Ingram Micro for almost 20 years. Monie has been at Ingram Micro since 2003, and has also served at Honeywell International and Allied Signal.
