    Ingram Micro Targets IT Recycling


    Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro has expanded into offering IT recycling of cell phones and ink cartridges, and has announced a new service called Ingram Micro Outlet / Recycle. Ingram Micro, which is a major distributor of IT products, said that the new program is a part of its ongoing efforts to preserve the environment and address the the problem of e-waste. Ingram said the free program offers U.S. solution providers with handling of qualified cell phones along with ink and laser printer and fax cartridges. IT solution providers can earn cash credits usable towards Ingram Micro products.
