Inphi Launches New Optical Component

Westlake Village-based Inphi has launched a new component targeted at the optical industry. The firm said this week that it has launched a new, Integrated Linear Transpedance Amplifier (TIA) which is used for the upcoming IEEE 10BASE-KRM standard. The company's parts are used in optical networking applications for 10 Gbps Ethernet over multimode fiber. The components are used for signal conditioning. Inphi is a provider of high speed circuits in the telecommunications, data communications, and instrumentation industry.
