InsiderPages Raises Venture Round
Pasadena-based InsiderPages has raised a venture capital round, according to a report from PE Wire. PE Wire reported that it discovered in a regulatory filing with the SEC that InsiderPages had raised $8.5M in a Series B funding. socalTECH.com confirmed the unannounced venture round with Stuart MacFarlane, CEO of InsiderPages. MacFarlane said that the company would soon officially announce the round. InsiderPages is an Idealab-backed spinoff developing a social networking-based, local search engine that allows friends and associates to recommend local businesses. The company is the the local search space, which is heating up as companies look for the next frontier in the profitable search engine space.
